How to save a receipt for a warranty
- Open the purchase in Yavo, or add it, and tap Add under Attachments.
- Take a photo of the receipt, choose one from your gallery, or pick a PDF from your files. Photos and PDFs up to 4 MB each.
- The receipt stays on that transaction. When you need it, open the purchase and download the file again.
Already scanning receipts? When you photograph one, Yavo reads the merchant, the date and the total and keeps the original photo with the expense, so the warranty copy comes for free.
Other ways a receipt gets in
- Photograph it at the till. Thermal paper fades; a photo taken the day you buy does not.
- Forward it from your inbox. Send an e-receipt as a PDF to your personal Yavo address. See forwarding receipts by email.
- Attach a PDF invoice to an existing purchase from your files.
For big purchases, attach a second photo of the product label or serial number next to the receipt, so both are in one place.
What Yavo does not do
Yavo is not a warranty tracker. It does not read warranty terms, calculate an expiry date or remind you before one runs out. It keeps the proof of purchase attached to the right expense, and that is the part you cannot rebuild later.

Do I need to link my bank to use this? No. Yavo never asks for your online banking login. You add the receipts you want to keep.
